Years ago, I began including a canvas piano tote bag as a part of my students’ piano lesson tuition. It just made sense because I had heard all of the excuses about students trying to keep track of their piano material.

Students would tell me that…
Their books had slid under the seat of the car and stayed there all week.
Stray pages would fly out of their binder or get stuck inside a piano book.
Some or all of their books would get left at home and never make it back to piano lessons.
I’ve even found piano books left in my yard after students had left their piano lesson. They just didn’t quite make it to the car!
Once you get all of your students organized using piano bags, there’s no going back! It’s so convenient to have everyone show up with exactly what they need each week. And, it’s really easy for parents to help their kids manage their piano supplies.

My students are so excited to add new pins to their bag as they reach different milestones and complete piano challenges. Piano bags become a fun place to show off everything that a student has learned or accomplished at the piano.
We design and make all of our piano bags right here in my studio. We’ve been using this classic design for a number of years. It comes in a variety of colors.

We offer bulk pricing on our original design to keep piano bags affordable for teachers. In my studio, students pay a yearly enrollment fee, which includes their material for the year. We hand out piano bags at each student’s first lesson and only replace them if they’re worn out after many years of use.
All of our new designs are available in any quantity. If you prefer not to cover the cost of piano bags, you could send this link to your piano families and have them pick out and pay for their own piano bag.
