‘Tis the season for piano students to learn Christmas songs!

Pianists always have to get an early start on learning Christmas songs so that our music is ready for Christmas performances and to help spread holiday cheer throughout the season.

But, brand new piano students often aren’t reading notated sheet music yet, and if they are, they need something super simple.

Today, I have an easy version of Jolly Old St. Nicholas to share with you, three ways: Pre-reading using only black keys, pre-reading in Middle C position and notated in Middle C position. Print off as many as you need and enjoy!

  1. So thankful to find this! I have some in the Faber “My First Piano Adventures” book A and they’re not ready for most of the songs with Faber’s Christmas Book A. This is perfect, I really appreciate you having this available.
