I have another beautiful intermediate piece to share with you today! This is a wonderful arrangement of Paradise by Coldplay, arranged by Phillip Keveren from his book Coldplay for Classical Piano.
Phillip Keveren is one of my favorite arrangers for piano music. (You can read my review of his arrangement of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen here.) I especially love when he arranges modern music in a classical style. He has a way of really making the music fit the piano well.
I have several huge Coldplay fans in my studio and they have really helped me come to appreciate Coldplay’s music. I really enjoy listening to it and playing it!
There is nothing terribly difficult about this piece, but I’d say it’s best suited for later intermediate players. The voicing between the 2 hands can be tricky and the fast scale runs do require a bit of technical skill.
